SPIRITUALITY

complete poem :

Om namah shivay

She chants while on bed she lies

Still, waiting for the sun to rise.

Before the world, she’s all awake

Sings with the birds, about Meera and Ganesh.

Simple sari and a bindi to grace,

Her poise empowered by elegance

Serene, ethereal yet powerful her gait.

Her beauty like the endless blue sky,

As pure as the gangotri high.

She bows before the lord like a devoted sage

Begins her morning with pilgrimage.

Content with the family, she adores

The smile on her grandchildren’s face, she lives for.

Spiritual she feels when her son’s touch her feet

And her daughters ask her to prepare their favorite treat.

Overwhelmed with love, she’s ready to pour

Look into her eyes, and you’ll be sure.

Her soul connects to the beads in her hands

She’s my spiritual reality,

To her I bow down with folded hands.

Dedicated to my grandmother, who for me is the epitome of spirituality.

RGB

A human has many relations in life, some are blood and some are professional.
He is constantly running after success, money and wants hi-tech world around him. He is trapped in the Vicious circle of money, the unwanted illusion and lives in the world of enmity.
He didn’t realize he is losing upon the true values of life.
Finally, when he gets the knowledge of right and wrong, he tries to come out of the illusion, but by the time this realization takes place it’s too late, he is only one step away from the death.
His own blood relations come forward and try to rescue him from death.

The Rainbow of life...follow the STORM!

In the early touch of spring when I take my first step out
in the meadow, the delicate kiss of the wind on my skin,
the chirping of the birds, the bloom of flowers like a carpet
of rainbow, the mischief game of squirrels, the light rattle
of insects, the gentle sprinkle of water makes me travel in
a whole new different world .....where nothing is so pure
as mother nature. For me this is life which by time goes
through the judgement day ...to fight the storm of destruction
but in the end always proves it's worth of victory.
This is where I discovered the true relationship of Beauty.
This is where.... I understood the deep meaning of  Spirituality.
For spirituality is every where.....in me and in the life around me!

Deepest Memory

Today if I look back to my childhood the first thing that brings smile to me is the tickling game which my mother used to play with me. I am sure that every one can connect it with their own childhood memories too, only the language and the way it is done would have been different. Being a Keralite, my mother used to play this game with me in Malayalam. The game associates the five dishes that the child eats with his/her five fingers and when each dish to be eaten is called, the child is supposed to fold his one finger. When all the five fingers get folded, mummy used to run her hands on my arm like an ant and then tickle. It used to make be laugh enormously and may be that’s the reason that she used to play it with me very often.
